Adam Lancaster, Professional Engineer and Certified Floodplain Manager, is the City Engineer and is responsible for the Engineering Department which includes the Permits, Projects, and Stormwater Divisions, and is staffed by seven full-time employees, and is responsible for:
Design, plans and specifications, contract administration and construction inspection for capital projects, including public improvement districts
Development submittal review, specifically infrastructure requirements including street/traffic/stormwater
Engineering and surveying requirements to all City departments as requested
Floodplain and storm water regulations administration
Management of the City Geographical Information System (GIS)
Performs right-of-way and public infrastructure project inspections and administers Excavation Permits.
A record of all maps, capital project plans and specifications, subdivision plats, annexation plans, etc.
