Beginning Monday, December 29th, the City’s construction contractor, Rhoades Construction, will be moving to the next phase of road and stormwater reconstruction on the N 9th Street Road Reconstruction Project.
The northern section of N 9th Street, north of Raintree Boulevard, is being closed for the installation of new stormwater infrastructure and through traffic will not be passible from Washington Street to Candlewood Drive. The contractor will have a hard block from Family Center Drive to Raintree Boulevard. All businesses in this area are open and will be accessible with signage, but travel will be from either the north or south of the construction zone, with no through travel. There will be detours in place to direct traffic from Washington Street to Candlewood Drive. Access to businesses north of Raintree Boulevard will be from Washington Street, with traffic directed back north to exit the area. This phase of the project will take multiple weeks to complete as they install new infrastructure.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the City engineering department or Rhoades Construction.
