US 50 Pedestrian Improvements

The City of Cañon City is working with the Colorado Department of Transportation to complete pedestrian and access improvements on US 50 (Royal Gorge Boulevard) between 1st Street and 15th Street.

UAACOG Discontinues Recycling Program

After much deliberation, the Board of Directors of the Upper Arkansas Area Council of Governments (UAACOG) has decided to terminate the Upper Arkansas Recycling Program as of October 7, 2020.

UAACOG has ended their recycling program. Residents will notice that the recycling bins are no longer in place throughout town. For recycling service please contact your local trash/recycling company for further information.
