The registration process for the Academy is underway. The class is limited to approximately 30 people and is expected to fill quickly. If you are interested in the Citizens Police Academy, please take a few moments to complete this application and return it to the Police Department at 161 Justice Center Rd, Cañon City, CO 81212. The two-page application is the only document that needs to be returned. You may also email the completed application to Community Engagement Coordinator, Kathy Herrin, at kkherrin@canoncity.org. Space will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants will undergo a screening process that includes a criminal history check. Due to material covered in the class and security concerns, serious or recent criminal activity will disqualify applicants from the Academy.
