The Grandview Avenue bridge replacement project will begin with road closures on May 13, 2024.
Below is the traffic plan detailing the detour route for Grandview Avenue through traffic for the Grandview Avenue bridge replacement project. The detour will be in place and the road will be closed on either side of Fourmile Creek on May 13, 2024, through mid-November 2024. Fremont County is the owner of this project and the Contractor is Siete, Inc. of Rye, Colorado. The project will remove and replace the old load-restricted bridge with a new one that includes sidewalks for pedestrian safety. The cost of the project is $3.1 million with local, state, and federal funding, including a significant contribution from the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT). Working hours for the contractor will be from 7:00 a.m. –5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
