An exciting opportunity exists for individuals who wish to serve on the Red Canyon Park Trails Committee.
Letters of Interest are being accepted for five members appointed by City Council. The members will consist of three Fremont County residents of which one must be a Cañon City resident and two City Council members. The Committee will meet monthly to review, evaluate, and make recommendations concerning trail development within Red Canyon Mountain Park.
Letters should include a list of experiences and why you wish to serve in this capacity. Such letters should be addressed to the Cañon City Council, c/o Cindy Foster Owens, City Clerk, P.O. Box 1460, 128 Main Street, Cañon City, CO 81215. Letters must be received by 5:00 p.m. on August 11, 2023. For more information or questions, contact Public Works Director Leo Evans at 719.276.5291.
