The City of Cañon City will hold a public open house to recruit members for the Red Canyon Park Trails Committee on Monday, July 17, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. at City Hall, 128 Main Street, Cañon City, CO 81212.
The City is seeking members of the public in the creation of a working committee dedicated towards exploring options for a trail network within Red Canyon Park. This committee will review, evaluate, and make recommendations concerning trail development within Red Canyon Mountain Park to City Council.
We invite anyone who is interested in joining the committee to come to the open house to learn about the committee, meeting commitments, goals, etc. and to ask any questions you may have. For more information, please contact Parks Director, Rex Brady, at rtbrady@canoncity.org.
