Outdoor Heater and Capacity Sustainability Grant

Outdoor Heater

The City of Cañon City is offering Outdoor Heater and Capacity Sustainability Grants to local businesses.

Patio heaters, one propane tank per heater, and refills through Mile High Propane will be provided through the CARES Act Funding and the City of Cañon City until December 24, 2020. This grant is to help businesses through the crisis created by the COVID-19 Pandemic. It will allow the use of outdoor spaces into the cold months, helping to create or sustain more capacity due to COVID-19 regulations and restrictions for mitigation of COVID-19. Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Sixty outdoor heaters are available. Apply online at
