Chautauqua Performance

The Cañon City Public Library Foundation presents a Living History Chautauqua Style performance by Martin VerSteeg.

Martin VerSteeg will be performing as Knife Chief a Lakota/Sioux Warrior on Saturday, September 30 at 2 p.m. at the Steeple Event Center at 701 Macon Avenue. During Martin's first-person performance, he will touch on the daily lives and ceremonies of the Cheyenne, Arapahoe, Utena, and Lakota Indian tribes and their travels south to Bent's Fort and to Mexico. Martin will have artifacts for all to see and touch.
