Park Ownership Schedule
PARK,
RECREATION, TRAILS, OPEN SPACE:
The City of Cañon City owns and
operates specific parks, trails, open space, and cemetery areas in
Canon City. The City is also responsible for the maintenance of
trees along right of ways throughout the community. The City does
not provide any park and recreation activity programming. A
separate governmental district called the Cañon City Area
Metropolitan Recreation & Park District schedules and provides
a wide range of sports activity programming such as soccer,
basketball, baseball, football, swimming, trails, and many other
activities. The following PARK OWNERSHIP SCHEDULE provides a
listing of all physical park and recreation sites in the Cañon
City area and which public entity operates and maintains them:
