More info. on Outdoor Retail Sales
Outdoor Retail Sales are allowed
within the city limits of Cañon City only under the following
conditions:
- When
the vendor is located on a lot that has been approved by
Special Review for Outdoor Retail Sales (see list below) and has
obtained the following:
- a
sales tax license for the City of Cañon City, and:
- an
Administrative Permit for Outdoor Retail Sales.
- When
the vendor is located on a lot that has NOT been approved by
Special Review for Outdoor Retail Sales, but has obtained the
following:
- the
signature of the property/business owner on a statement
that he (business owner) agrees to process the vendor
sales tax through his existing sales tax license, and;
- an
Administrative Permit for Outdoor Retail Sales.
- In
conjunction with an approved special event, such as the
Blossom Festival or approved arts and crafts fairs and
farmers’ markets, when the vendor has obtained a sales tax
license for the City of Cañon City.
